If you can read a full novel in five minutes go no further. If you’d like to learn how to read a tome in less than 5 minutes read on.
First get into a meditative alpha state. Put on soothing music and close your eyes. Now concentrate on what you expect to learn from the book.
This opens your mind and sets a hook in your memory for the information you are about to absorb.
Open your eyes and look in soft focus at the centre of the pages. You should be able to see both pages at once. Flick through the book spending no more than a second on each pair of pages.
Without realizing at the time you will find after a couple of days you’ll find you have gleaned all you wanted from the book.
This method works best on non-fiction books. Novels are more difficult to get the main idea at such speed. They are meant to be enjoyed anyway.
